# Send and receive crypto

> Send crypto to an address or another OnlyBulls user, save addresses, and receive crypto on the right network.

> [!CAUTION]
>
> **Always match the network**
>
> Crypto sent on the wrong network, or to an address on a different network, can be lost for good. Before you send, check that the sender and the recipient are using **the same network**. For example, USDC on Base must go to an address that's receiving USDC on Base.

## Send crypto

**1. On the Wallet tab, tap Send**

**2. Choose the token**

If you hold it on more than one network, pick the network too.

**3. Enter an amount, or tap Use max**

You can switch between entering US dollars and the token amount.

**4. Enter the recipient**

In **To**, enter one of these:

* A wallet address
* An OnlyBulls user's name, @username, or email
* Tap the QR icon to scan an address, or the bookmark icon to pick a saved address

**5. Review the send**

On **Review send**, check **To**, **Network**, **Network fee**, and **Estimated debit**.
Open **Advanced details** to see the full addresses.

**6. Tap Confirm send**

You'll see **Successfully sent**, or **Send submitted** while the network confirms it. Tap **View activity** to follow it.

### Network fees

Every blockchain charges a small fee to process a transaction. It's paid in the network's own token: ETH on Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, and Optimism; SOL on Solana; POL on Polygon; TRX on TRON; or BTC on Bitcoin. Keep a little of that token in your wallet so you can send. Where OnlyBulls covers the fee for you, the review screen shows **Paid by OnlyBulls**.

Some networks have a few extra things to know:

* **Bitcoin:** choose a **Speed**: Slow (\~1 hour), Standard (\~30 min), or Fast (\~10 min). Faster costs more.
* **Solana:** sending a token to someone who has never held it adds a one-time **Account creation** cost.
* **TRON:** only TRX and USDT (TRC-20) can be sent from OnlyBulls right now.

Staked tokens and balances in Perps can't be sent directly. Unstake or withdraw them first.

### Saved addresses

When you enter a valid address, tap **Save** to give it a label. Saved addresses are kept per network, and you can save up to 50.

### Memos and destination tags

OnlyBulls doesn't support memos or destination tags. If an exchange asks for a memo or tag when you send to it, don't send from OnlyBulls. Use a different route, or check the exchange's instructions first.

### If something goes wrong

| Message | What it means |
| - | - |
| **Invalid address** / **Expected EVM (0x...) address, but got Solana address** | The address doesn't match the network of the token you chose. |
| **Insufficient balance** | You don't have enough of the token, including the network fee. |
| **Not enough SOL** / **Insufficient TRX for the amount and live network fee.** | Add some of the network's token to pay the fee. |
| **Transaction status unknown** | It may have gone through. Check [your activity](https://help.onlybulls.com/wallet/activity.md) before you try again, so you don't send twice. |
| **This token can't be sent yet, but it can still be swapped.** | Sending isn't supported for this token. You can [swap](https://help.onlybulls.com/wallet/swap.md) it instead. |

## Receive crypto

**1. On the Wallet tab, tap Receive**

**2. By default, the screen shows your address for USDC on Base**

To receive something else, tap **Receiving something else?** and choose the network.

**3. Copy the address, tap Share, or let the sender scan your QR code**

Incoming transactions usually take a few minutes to show up.

### Which address to use

* **Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, BNB Smart Chain, Avalanche, Robinhood Chain, and Ault** all use **the same `0x…` address**. Make sure the sender chooses the right network.
* **Solana**, **Bitcoin**, and **TRON** each have their own address.

On iOS and Android you can also tap the QR icon at the top of the Wallet tab. Under **My QR** you can pick a network and show its address.
