# Predictions

> Trade Yes and No shares on real-world outcomes through Polymarket, fund your trading balance, and withdraw.

> [!WARNING]
>
> **Not available in many countries**
>
> Predictions markets are run by Polymarket, which doesn't allow trading in many countries, including the **United States**, the **United Kingdom**, **France**, **Germany**, **Italy**, **Australia**, and **Brazil**. See [who can use Predictions](#who-can-use-predictions) before you add money.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Predictions is in beta.

**Predictions** lets you buy and sell **Yes** or **No** shares on the outcome of real-world events in politics, sports, crypto, science, pop culture, and business. Markets are run by **Polymarket** on the **Polygon** network.

The price of a share (in cents) reflects how likely the market thinks the outcome is. If the outcome happens, each winning share is worth \$1. If it doesn't, the shares are worth \$0.

Open Predictions from **Trade → Predictions** or **More → Predictions**.

## Who can use Predictions

Polymarket decides where prediction markets can be traded, and OnlyBulls follows its rules. Your location is checked from your internet connection while you use Predictions.

As of October 2026, Polymarket restricts trading in these places, among others:

* **North America:** the United States (including US Minor Outlying Islands), and the Canadian provinces of Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia, and Alberta
* **Europe:** the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Poland, Slovakia, Ireland, the Netherlands, Belarus, and Russia
* **Asia-Pacific:** Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Myanmar
* **Latin America:** Brazil, Venezuela, Nicaragua, and Cuba
* **Middle East and Africa:** Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Libya, Sudan, South Sudan, Somalia, Ethiopia, Burundi, the Central African Republic, Congo (Kinshasa), and Zimbabwe
* **Other:** North Korea, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine

This list changes. For the current list, see Polymarket's [geographic restrictions](https://docs.polymarket.com/polymarket-learn/FAQ/geoblocking).

### In a restricted country

You'll see **Trading is not available in your region**, and **Region Restricted** on each market. In OnlyBulls this means:

* You **can** browse markets, prices, and price history.
* You **can** [withdraw](#withdraw) your trading balance back to your wallet.
* You **can't** buy shares, and you **can't sell** shares you already hold. The trade form, including **Close Position**, is hidden while you're in a restricted country.

If you hold shares and are traveling to a restricted country, sell them before you go, or wait until you're back.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Don't use a VPN to get around these restrictions. It breaks Polymarket's terms of use.

## What you need

Predictions uses **USDC.e** (bridged USDC) on **Polygon**, which is different from regular USDC. You also need a little **POL** to pay network fees on Polygon.

* If you have regular USDC on Polygon, tap **Swap to USDC.e**.
* If you have neither, the **Fund Your Wallet** card lets you copy your Polygon address, buy USDC, or receive funds. Card purchases deliver regular USDC, so you may need to swap it to USDC.e afterwards.
* If you see **You need POL for gas fees on Polygon**, tap **Get POL**.

## One-time setup

The first time you trade, the **Trade** tab walks you through three steps:

**1. Setup Account**

One wallet signature creates your Polymarket trading account.

**2. Approve Tokens**

A few wallet confirmations let your account trade.

**3. Setup Complete**

You're ready to trade.

## Buy shares

**1. Choose a market from the list, then open the Trade tab**

**2. Choose Buy, then Yes or No**

**3. Choose an order type**

**Market** buys now at the best available price. **Limit** lets you set your own price per share.

**4. Enter an amount in USDC**

You'll see **Est. shares**, **You pay**, and **Potential payout**.

**5. Tap Buy Yes or Buy No**

If your trading balance is too low, the button says **Deposit & Buy**. It moves USDC.e from your wallet into your trading balance, then places the order.

Market orders have a \$1 minimum, and limit orders have a minimum number of shares that varies by market. A small fee is charged on each trade, set by Polymarket for that market. The form shows it before you trade.

## Sell shares

You can sell any time the market is open:

* On the **Positions** tab, tap **Close Position** to sell all your shares at the market price.
* Or choose **Sell** on the **Trade** tab to sell part of a position, or to set a limit price.

## Open orders

Limit orders that haven't filled are listed on the **Orders** tab. Tap **Cancel** to remove one.

## Withdraw

**1. On the Predictions screen, tap the wallet icon (Withdraw)**

**2. Enter an amount, or tap MAX, then tap Review**

**3. Sign to confirm**

There's no gas fee for withdrawals.

The USDC.e goes back to your OnlyBulls wallet on Polygon.

## Common messages

| Message | What to do |
| - | - |
| **Insufficient funds…** | Add USDC.e, or lower the amount. Open orders reserve part of your balance. |
| **No liquidity available for a market order.** | Try a limit order instead. |
| **Token approvals missing. Please re-run account setup.** | Go back to the **Trade** tab and complete setup again. |
| **Order Failed** | Try a limit order, a smaller amount, or make sure you have POL for gas. |
