# AI Chat (askROI)

> Ask the OnlyBulls AI assistant about markets, your watchlist, and your portfolio, set alerts by chat, and manage your conversations.

**askROI** is the AI assistant built into OnlyBulls. Open it from the **AI Chat** tab on iOS and Android, or **askROI** in the sidebar on the web.

## What you can ask

askROI can look things up for you while it answers:

* **Prices and charts:** live quotes, daily summaries, and price history
* **Technical analysis:** RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands, and support and resistance
* **Company research:** fundamentals, company details, related companies, and short interest
* **News:** company news, news sentiment, and web searches of financial sources
* **The market:** top movers, whether markets are open, and the IPO calendar
* **You:** your watchlists, your wallet holdings, and the goals you shared during setup

Try questions like:

* *"What's moving in the markets today?"*
* *"Compare BTC and ETH."*
* *"How is my portfolio doing this week?"*
* *"Alert me if SOL goes above \$250."*

A new chat shows four suggested questions, based on your watchlist and profile. Tap one to send it.

## Actions and limits

askROI can **read** your watchlists and wallet, but it **can't move money**. It won't place trades, swap, buy, or send for you.

When it makes sense, it adds a button such as **Swap**, **Buy**, or **Alert** under its answer. These open the normal screens with details filled in, and you review and confirm everything yourself.

The one thing it can do on its own is **create a crypto price alert** when you ask for one. If it isn't sure which token or network you mean, it'll ask.

## Using the chat

* **Stop a reply:** tap the stop button while it's answering.
* **Copy:** tap **Copy response** under an answer.
* **Try again:** tap **Regenerate response** on the latest answer.
* **Feedback:** tap thumbs up or thumbs down. Thumbs down lets you say what was wrong.
* **Tickers:** tap a price card in an answer to open that asset's page.

Messages can be up to 4,000 characters.

## Personality

Change how askROI talks to you with the **Agent Personality** slider on your profile. It ranges from **Professional** to **Playful**.

## Your conversations

* **New chat:** tap the pencil icon.
* **History:** tap the clock icon to see past chats. Each chat is named automatically from your first message.
* **Rename or delete a chat:** open it and tap **⋯** (or use the menu on the history page), then choose **Rename** or **Delete**.

> Deleting a chat is immediate, with no confirmation.

Chats are kept until you delete them.

## Usage limits

If you send a lot of messages in a short time, you'll see **Slow down**. Wait a minute and try again.

## AI Chat and your data

To use AI Chat, you need to agree to AI features. See [AI features and your data](https://help.onlybulls.com/getting-started/onboarding.md#ai-features-and-your-data). If you declined:

* **iOS and Android:** we'll ask again when you open AI Chat.
* **Web:** you'll see **AI features are turned off for your account.** Turn them on from the mobile app first.

## If something goes wrong

| Message | What to do |
| - | - |
| **We couldn't generate a response.** | Tap **Try again**. |
| **Response incomplete** | Some data couldn't be loaded. Ask again. |
| **Wait for the current response to finish** | askROI is still answering. Wait, or tap stop. |
| **This answer performed an action and cannot be replaced.** | The answer created something, such as an alert, so it can't be regenerated. Ask a new question instead. |
